New Business Development Representative – Inside Sales - work from home opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated team player that is excited by the opportunity to be one of the first members of a newly formed Inside Sales team. The New Business Development Representative will work with the sales team prospecting to decision makers within SMBs and Blue Chip companies. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges, is a self-starter, has an extremely positive attitude and a winning mentality.

The primary focus of this role is to discover quality business opportunities and pass them to the sales team. He/she will gain a good knowledge of the Clicktools product offering and develop a high level of sales skills and pipeline building. The successful New Business Development Representative will progress to participate in product demos and after a period of continuous learning, development and target achievement will be given the opportunity to participate in the full sales cycle from qualify to close on identified prospects.

This is a home-based position with a base salary and bonus opportunity reporting remotely to our VP of Sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and qualify leads generated through marketing programs for the direct sales team with a focus on high outbound call volume.
• Perform extensive research on both the company and contacts assigned
• Process leads and facilitate next step introductions and set appointments for sales executives.
• Accurately maintain comprehensive and accurate prospect information within Salesforce CRM.
• Develop proficiency in our application and become an expert in our space.
• Help document new business processes and identify ways to create efficiencies.
• Meet and exceed quotas and individual goals and objectives set with VP of Sales.
• Assist with and eventually conduct online product demos.
• After a positive track record, opportunity to participate in full sales cycle from qualify to close for identified prospects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1-3 years inside sales experience preferably in On Demand, SaaS, Cloud computing, or Feedback software solutions environment.
• Ability to work in a team-goal oriented environment with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
• Strong telephone presentation and listening skills– ability to easily communicate with prospects of all levels within companies of all sizes.
• Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Computer savvy with proficiency in MS Office with the desire and ability to grasp new technologies.
• CRM Systems experience required – Salesforce knowledge a plus.
• Previous experience with software demos a plus.
• Knowledge of/experience with CRM & on demand software, survey & customer experience/customer feedback and/or a salesforce.com integrated product a plus.
• Ability to create and improve upon processes and procedures, must be creative and think outside the box.
• Ability to work from home and report remotely to direct supervisor and cover customers across various time zones – hours will generally be based on Eastern time zone.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
• Sense of humor and pleasant personality a must!
